Alan Byrn brings 25 years of television news and media relations experience to the Public Information/Marketing Specialist position for the Greenville Public School District. He worked in commercial television as a TV news director, news anchor, producer, and reporter, and as a media relations specialist for a trade association based in Washington, D. C. Mr. Byrn was born and raised in Kansas and graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in journalism.
