Our mission is to analyze, design, develop and support relevant and quality technology
systems for the Greenville Public School District. We believe that providing and
supporting these systems for both instruction and administration is critical to quality
education for our students. Our primary task is to support the educational process.
Responsibilities:
Provide IT support for all users
Provide local LAN, hardware and software support
Design, install, and maintain LAN hardware configurations, including
file servers, e-mail servers, application servers, desktops and laptops
Repair and maintain all computers
Install and maintain network wiring facilities
Evaluate, acquire, test and install all desktop, server and client software and
ensure licensing compliance
Resolve all inter-software compatibility issues
Support network service (DNS, DHCP, Remote Access)
Install software and hardware upgrades |
